I’m both. I haven’t done anything really noteworthy as either that would make someone go “oh, he is a writer/comedian. He’s earned it.” But I’m working to that point, and I feel comfortable thinking of myself as a writer and as a comedian. I’ve written things and I’ve performed comedy in front of audiences. Besides, not counting Dane Cook, don’t comedians have to write their jokes?
